Meadhbh is a joy to work with. I had the pleasure of working with her on Level Up! last summer - not only is she a wonderful choreographer, but a fantastic collaborator, and a rock within a company.
Her approach with actors is considerate but rigorous, responding to their abilities and allowing space for their offers without the standard ever slipping. Thanks to the nature of the show, Meadhbh was bringing in inspiration and influence from the broadest of styles, but all with a clear cohesion.
She’s also incredibly adaptable - as this was a new musical which saw some major updates over the course of the development and rehearsal process, Meadhbh was always able to respond.
She also helped extensively as more of a movement director, helping develop stylised comic moments that became highlights of the show.
She brings a warm, welcoming presence to the rehearsal room, but is the ardent professional and can really get a company to push on as needed. She was a brilliant creative presence and sounding board from the off.
